Why the parties awaits directives from the electoral umpire,the Independent National Electoral Commission on modalities regarding the general elections, interested aspirants are already indicating interest with the leadership of their various parties. For the People’s Democratic Party, Journalist and publisher of Ovation Magazine Dele Momodu and renowned pharmacist, Sam Ohuabunwa are among early callers with presidential ambition. They took turns to state their intent to join the Presidential race. Meanwhile,the Peoples Democratic Party has assured it’s presidential hopefuls of equal opportunities through a free, fair and transparent primary election. PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu however urged them to do the needful as required for the office they are aspiring for. As the clock ticks towards the next general elections,it is expected that the wadata house National Secretariat of the nations main opposition party will be a beehive of activities for more presidential aspirants.
