Breaking: Nigeria’s Election, None Of Our Personnel Was Arrested, INEC Boss

The chairman of the independent National Electoral Commission,Prof Mahmood Yakubu has debunked speculation that one of the commission’s national commissioner was arrested and detained by the department of state security. The INEC boss made the clarification at a news conference in Abuja on measures taken so far to ensure success of the scheduled polls. Yakubu said the national Commissioner who was been speculated to have been arrested was at the Commission headquarters at the time of the press conference.
