As Christians across the country celebrate Christmas,Nigerians have been urged to imbibe the spirit of love, humility and forgiveness among themselves. Pastor Sesan Afelumo of the Redeem Christian Church of God gave the indication while sharing his thought on the significance of the birth of Christ with Channel Network Afrique. He said Jesus reflected and stood for love and forgiveness, hence all mankind should emulate his virtues at all time. However, some residents of the federal capital territory expressed worry that the gesture Christmas represent is fast fading away. Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among Christians around the world.
