A Coalition of Civil Society For Good Governance and National Development has commended the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC for its roles in unifying Nigerians. Speaking at a two day public discourse on reinforcing critical institutions for National Development and sustainability in Abuja, an educationist, Prof. Okpe Joseph Okpe lauded the efforts of institutions such as the NYSC and the Joint Admission snd Matriculation Board, JAMB for maintaining its relevance in the country. The scheme was also eulogized for the manner it collaborated with NCDC in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic and thinking outside the box in safeguarding the health of corps members. The theme of the conference is, Appraising MDAs As Critical Assets for Nation Building in the Face of Global Challenges and Realities.
