NEPC New Boss Resumes Work, Reads Riot Act Against Indiscipline, Corruption
The New Executive Director of the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Ezra Yakusak has officially resume office with a promise to improve ongoing reforms and export policies of the agency. In a brief ceremony in Abuja, Mr. Yakusak said he would give attention towards ensuring quality packaging of the nation’s non-oil products for export. He said the capacity of exporters of non-oil products would also be enhanced to enable them competite favourably in the international market. The New NEPC Executive Director who described delay in export of products as one of the factors hindering the growth of the nation’s economy said Domestic Warehouse Operations would equally been strengthened for optimal delivery adding that the existing programmes on quality products development and export would be sustained to ensure national economic development. The New Executive Director of NEPC while soliciting support from the staff advised them against any act of indiscipline and corruption as he promised to operate open door policy for the overall development of the council.
