Civil Society Adopts Strategy To Ensure Credible Electoral Process In Nigeria

Over the years, issues of litigation have characterized the outcome of elections conducted in nigeria. While this development has questioned the legitimacy of election results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, it has in some cases led to violence. To ensure such situations does not occur in the 2019 election, a civil society organisation, Youth Initiative For Advocacy Growth And Advancement, YIAGA Africa, initiated a Watching The Vote working group concept, targeted at ensuring a more credible electoral process.
