80 Percent Of Covid 19 Deaths Caused By Lack Of Vaccination-NPHCDA
Indications from the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, NPHCDA suggests that over 80 percent of death cases recently recorded from COVID-19 infection was caused by lack of vaccination. Executive Director, NPHCDA, Faisal Shuaib who disclosed this at a sensitization meeting with the leadership National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS) in Abuja explained that 8 out of 10 persons who becomes sick with COVID19 could die because they were unvaccinated along with other underlying illness they may have. Urging Nigerians to come out and get vaccinated, Shuaib once again assured of the safety and efficiency of the vaccine. Earlier, President, National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS), Sunday Dayo endorsed the safety of the vaccine and urged students across the various Tertiary institutions across the country to get vaccinated. NANS further assured the NPHCDA leadership of it’s commitment to ensure proper dissemination of the vaccination exercise in the various campuses.
