After being declared missing for about one month, the Nigerian Police says it has arrested a hit-and- run taxi driver from Mpape Community in the Federal Capital Territory who claimed to have alleged knocked dead the Journalist, Henry Tordue Salem at Mabushi-Wuse Inter-change. Concern have been raised about the Where about of the missing Vanguard reporter after he went missing about a month ago. While parading the hit-and-run driver, at the office premises of the Intelligent Response Team in Abuja, the Force Public Relations Officer CP Frank Mba said the corpse of the late Journalist was found by the IRT investigative team in Wuse General Hospital Morgue in the nation’s capital city. The alleged killer driver Itoro Clement during confession to knocking down an individual at Wuse-Mabushi Interchange but for fear of being attacked sped off. An alleged eye witness, a security officer also gave his account of the Incident. According to Police Investigation, the late Salem Tordue, was last traced to Shehu Shagari way at a Gas Station where he met with a female relative before his sudden disappearance. In the possession of the late Vanguard reporter were 2 Banks ATM cards, Temporary NASS Identity Card, Vanguard Newspaper ID Card, and that of the NUJ.
