Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission says about US$8.99 billion has been tracked in the third quarter of 2021 as investment announcements for 33 projects across 8 states.
The acting Executive Secretary Emeka Offor who disclosed this in Abuja at a media interactive forum tagged Pro-active Media Engagement said the investment announcement was one hundred and thirty percent higher than what was obtained same period in 2020.
He said the top ten announcements accounted for about ninety six percent of the tracked value adding that the month of August was the most active during the quarter.
