All is set for the National Convention of the People’s Democratic Party. As party chieftains and delegates from across the country arrive for the exercise to be held at the Eagle Square complex Abuja, a group under the auspices of the National PDP Professionals and Business Group has made case for the emergence of a new leadership that will guide the party to victory in the 2023 general elections. The resolution among others was adopted at the Group’s Inaugural National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja presided by it’s National Coordinator Chief Chuks Ajaelu. The Group also restated their commitment to mobilize professionals and business men and women to the party but however made case for the outcome of the congress to reflect the 35 percent affirmative action. They further called for political solution to the intrigues that characterized the sack of the former National chairman of the party ,Uche Secondus from office.
