A Presidential Ad-hoc Committee of the Federal government that investigated the activities of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra IPOB has fingered the leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu of the killing of Chike Akunyili the husband to Dora Akunyili Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami who disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja also accused members of IPOB of killing of security operatives and other high profile killings in the Southeast. Kanu and Igboho are currently being detained because of their involvement in calling for balkanization of Nigeria.
