The party had slated October 16, 2021 for the congresses, after which a date would be fixed for zonal congresses ahead of its national convention. Inaugurating the committee at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja Secretary of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Sen John James Akpanudoedehe, emphasized need for the party’s guidelines for the exercise and the constitution to be their guide. Responding on behalf of the committee members, it’s chairman and former deputy Governor of Taraba state Uba Maigari Ahmadu, assured of efforts to deliver on their mandate. The Party is yet to name other members of the committee.
