Secretary to the Government of the Federation(SGF)Boss Mustapha says Nigeria’s unity is not negotiable, irrespective of the challenges in the country. The SGF, made this known at the interfaith Roundtable dinner organized by the Methodist church of Abuja. Represented by the Permanent Secretary office of the SGF, Maurice Mbeari, Mustapha called on Nigerians to put aside their differences and support the efforts of the federal government to ensure peaceful coexistence across the 36 states and the federal capital territory. He reafirmed optimism in ongoing onslaught by the armed forces and other security agencies to deal with the nation’s security concerns. Earlier in his remarks, the co chair of the Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace Dr Sunday Onuaha, canvassed need for religious leaders of all faith to always advance Peace initiatives that will promote religious harmony and unity in Nigeria. For the Emir of Bichi, Nasir Ado Bayero,Nigerians must show restraint and tolerance to one another. The theme of the interfaith roundtable is ” Building a culture of peace and unity in our country”.
