The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha has restated the commitment of the federal government to ideals and social norms that will unite the nation in the face of it’s diversity. The SGF have the indication at a reunion and Award service Organised by the Unity Baptist Church,Utako Abuja to honours members that have contributed to it’s growth and development. Represented by Pastor Ofiok Bassey, the SGF task the church in Nigeria to take advantage of the federal government policy on diversification to complement ongoing efforts to resuscitate the economy. He also commended the Unity Baptist church for building a new generation of leaders and citizens,saying the award programme will further galvanize more Nigerians to contribute their quota to peace and development of the nation. For the Lead pastor of the church, Sabonyaro Adams, the gesture for organizing the Programme was informed by need to appreciate the contributions of members who irrespective of global economic challenges have remained steadfast. The highpoint of the ceremony was the award presentation to the recipients who in their remarks expressed joy at the honour done them by the church. The occasion also featured songs ministration, presentation of gifts among others.
