The Peoples Democratic Party National Convention Zoning Committee has zoned the party’s Chairmanship position to the North ahead of it’s forthcoming elective convention slated for October 30th and 31st. Chairman of the committee and Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi who announced this in Abuja however failed to disclose the party’s decision on presidency, vice presidency or other executive and legislative positions. The committee also recommended the swapping of party leadership positions between the North and the South. Ugwuanyi noted that the decision of the PDP Zoning Committee is in line with it’s constitution on zoning and rotation of party and national offices in the interest of justice, equity and fairness.
