Hundreds of armed terrorists have been killed by troops of operation Hadarin Daji in different operations in the North West zone of Nigeria. The Acting Director, Defence Media Operations, Brigadier General Benard Onyeuko disclosed this at a news conference at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja to give an update on strides recorded by the Armed forces in the month of October 2021. He said a total of 85 Boko Haram Terrorist and Islamic State of West African Province fighters were neutralized while 43 of their collaborators and logistics suppliers arrest, large cache of arms and ammunition recovered by troops in the cause of operations in the North East zone. General Onyeuko further highlighted feat achieved in operations in other parts of the country especially the South-South region in the period under review. He however, noted that the military have so far degraded significantly the operations of insurgents, bandits, terrorists and other criminal element across the country.
