The National Insurance Commission, NAICOM, has called on both Foreign and Local delegates to the 47th Africa Insurance Organization (AIO) Conference to use the opportunity to establish new partnerships and relationships.
The Commissioner for Insurance and Chief Executive Officer of National Insurance Commission, Sunday Thomas who made the call in Lagos said the new relationships and partnerships will not only enhance the effectiveness of the industry but will add value to insurance operations in Africa.
The NAICOM boss who took out time to talk about the impact of the Corona Virus Disease Pandemic said “the Pandemic was challenging to everything that has to do with human affairs, in spite of the pandemic we still have time to have this programme.
“I want to believe that in the course of this programme new relationships and partnerships will be established, friends will be made….the event is going to add value to our operation”.
He however, solicited the delegates’ maximum cooperation to ensure that the programme is hitch-free.
The AIO Conference has been virtually declared open by President Muhammadu Buhari.
