The Corporate Affairs Commission has again allayed fears of some of its Staff losing jobs as a result of the ongoing digitisation exercise of the agency.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Director, Public Affairs, Ukaga Edward and made available to Channel Network Afrique (CNA).

The Registrar General, Garba Abubakar who was addressing staff of the CAC Portharcourt office during a working visit stressed that as the technology is fast taking over the manual processes, there was urgent need for them to make themselves relevant to the system.

He explained that in view of the ongoing reforms there was need for noncompliant staff to embrace technology to enable the commission reassign schedules to those that may require onboarding adding that CAC is committed to ensure continuous training and retraining of its workforce to realize its objectives.

Earlier, the Head of CAC Port Harcourt Nodal Office, Deputy Director, Godwin Ononokponor expressed delight over the visit and pledged their commitment to the improvement of service delivery to customers.
