The Save Humanity Advocacy Centre has cautioned Amnesty International and other non-governmental organisations in Nigeria to desist from issuing reports that are capable of demoralizing the nation’s troops fighting the war against terrorism and other security concerns. Amnesty International recently issued a report accusing Nigerian Security agencies of killing unarmed civilians in the Southeast on the ongoing onslaught against members of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra. According to the Execution Director of the Advocacy Centre, Paul Ikyado, the allegation of excessive use of force by security agents in the South-East is another scheme targeted at dampening the morale of security personnel helping to restore sanity across the country. The group further charged the leadership of the various security agencies in the country to continue to give their best and not succumb to the reports of Amnesty International.
