Secession: Gov. Ganduje Calls For Dialogue.

Governor Abdulahi Gandoje of Kano State has advised successionist agitators in the country to have a change of heart and embrace dialogue in efforts to address their grievances within the context of one indivisible nation. Governor Gandoje gave the indication at the All Progressive Congress (APC) press corps second quarterly public lecture in Abuja. He urged the agitators to see the National Assembly as a channel where some of their grievances can be addressed, adding that Nigeria cannot afford another civil war. On his part, the National Chairman, APC Caretaker Extraordinarily Convention Planning Committee,Mai Bala Buni commended the APC Press Corps for initiating the forum. Represented by former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, Governor Buni welcomed the idea of restructuring in terms of Governments efficiency and effectiveness towards addressing the need of Nigerians. In his welcome remarks, Chairman of the APC Press Corps, Jide Orintunsin reiterated that the public lecture is aimed at providing workable template for deepening the nation’s democratic governance.
