Women in Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) have been advised to embrace hard work and oneness in order to hit the desired heights in the sector. The Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen stated this at the maiden edition of the Department of Petroleum Resource Woman-in-PENGASSAN in Abuja. Tallen who also canvassed for more women participation in the oil and Gas sector noted that the roles of women in nation building must be prioritized. On his part, the Director, Abuja School of Social And Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi who expressed satisfaction at the leadership roles of women across the world stated that if more women are given vital roles in the oil and gas sector the nation would grow and be a better place. The event also featured presentations of award for the recognition of major players in nation building and development of the oil and Gas Sector.
