An Islamic clergy has attributed the high level of insecurity facing Nigeria to intolerance, unwillingness to accept each other rather than religious and ethnic differences. Sheikh Abdullahi Lau made this known while speaking at a peace, unity and National building conference in Abuja. He said some anti Nigerians who are catching on the ignorance of the people over time have been parading themselves as liberators at the detriment of the country. Speaker after speaker emphasized on the essence of peace building and national development. The theme for the two day Conference Organised by Standtall Africa Initiative and Kabiru Gombe Centre for Religious Diversity, Ethics and peace studies is ” Building a Better and Stronger Africa and Nigeria through Peaceful Co-existence, Unity and Intellectual Engagement.
