The Federal Government has endorsed a Television Reality Show Teachers Naija’, aimed at promoting professionalism and welfare in the teaching profession. Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, have the Indication at a courtesy visit to his office by the organisers of the TV Reality Show in Abuja. He expressed delight that the Reality TV show, which started in 2019, would change the narrative and perception about the teaching profession as well as ensure teachers get the desired respect in the society. The minister added that the program will also attract the best hands into the profession. Earlier in his remarks, Convener of the Teachers Reality TV Show, Ubaka Enuagwuna, said the Reality program is targeted at bringing out the best in teachers and creating a paradigm shift in the way they are perceived in the country. About 20 Teachers are expected to participate in the reality program expected to hit Television screens from 3rd of August,2021.
