Nigerians have been urged to disregard any form of misconception and misinformation about the Covid 19 Vaccination. This is inview of recent conspiracy theory in viral videos on the social media claiming that the vaccine can trigger the body to light up an electric bulb. Addressing a Press conference in Abuja, the Executive Director, National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr Faisal Shuaib debunked such claims saying it is the handiwork of mischief makers. The NPHCDA Boss further indicated various scientific proofs to the authenticity of the vaccines. Dr Shuaib further stated that over 3.9 millions have so far been vaccinated. While assuring that the Federal Government committed to providing safe and effective vaccination against COVID-19, the NPHCDA boss urged Nigerians on need to continue to observe all non pharmaceutical guidelines and precautionary measures against COVID-19.
