The Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor says the Nigerian Armed Forces will continue to partner with both foreign and regional allies as part of efforts to boost the capacity of its personnel in dealing with various security threats. The CDS said this when he played host to a Pakistani military delegation led by the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee, General Nadeem Raza at the Defence headquarters in Abuja. General Irabor indicated the interest of the Armed Forces Of Nigeria to collaborate with the Pakistan Armed Forces in the area of defence capabilities to further boost its operations. On his part, the Pakistani defence chief, General Nadeem Raza highlighted other areas of concerns both nation’s armed forces can collaborate that will further strengthen the fight against insurgency. Highlight of the visit includes presentation of gifts, inspection of the quarter guard by the Pakistan Chief of Staff among others.
