NCC Calls For Stakeholders’ Input Ahead Of Public Inquiry On Draft Regulation, Operating Levy & Frequency Spectrum Fees.

The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC has called on interested stakeholders to make written submission to the agency ahead of its public inquiry on draft regulation on operating levy and frequency spectrum fees.

In a document access by Channel Network Afrique, CNA, the commission while inviting stakeholders said the inquiry was in line with its functions as stated under the Nigerian Communications Act 2003.

It noted that NCC invited stakeholders in the telecoms for a public inquiries on the draft regulation on operating levy and frequency spectrum fees in order to have a robust telecommunications that could stand shoulder to shoulder with that of other clime.

The document also states that details of the virtual inquiries which holds on July 20 by 11.00am will be sent to interested attendees prior to the date of the public inquiry.

The commission also noted that the draft regulatory instruments are on its website www.ncc.gov.ng for stakeholders comments adding that all submissions must get to the office of the Executive Vice Chairman on or before July 12, 2021.
