The 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has begun across the various 820 Computer based Test Centres in the country. Over 1.3 million candidates registered for the examination with 75,000 others expected to sit for direct entry examination. The examination in some of the centres monitored by Channel Network Afrique crew in the Abuja metropolis started as early as 8: 30 am with respective candidates already at the premises. A visit to the CBT centre located at the Global Distance Learning Centre in the Central Business District of Abuja, indicated a hitch Free process as the exercise went on smoothly. A member of JAMB High level opinion team , Abdulrahman Balogun who was on ground to observe proceedings expressed satisfaction with arrangements put in place to conduct the examination. One of the Candidates also shared her thoughts. The situation was the same at the NAOWA CBT Centre, Mambilla barracks Asokoro except for issues of power outages raised by some candidates. Except for last minute changes, the UTM examination will run till July 3rd,2021.
