The National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) has disclosed the time frame for arrival of the next batch of the Oxford/ Astrazeneca Covid 19 vaccine. This is as the ongoing first dose of the Covid 19 vaccination across the country hits over 1.9 million with 680,345 others already administered with the second dose. Executive Director, NPHCDA Dr Faisal Shuaib disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja to update Nigerians on the status of Covid-19 Vaccination. He said information available to the agency indicates that 3.9 million doses of the vaccine will arrive the country late July or early August 2021. Meanwhile, the Agency has advised Nigerians that have been administered with the first dose of the vaccine to visit the nearest vaccination site for the second dose. Shuaib who stated that inundated calls from Nigerians informed the reopening of the first dose Vaccination said arrangement have been put in place to conclude the second dose Vaccination on or before 25th June 2021.
