The Nigerian Police Force has paraded 81 suspects including 3 females for offences that includes, kidnappings, banditry, armed robbery, unlawful possession of fire arms, illegal manufacturing of vehicle plate number and other sundry offences. According to the Forces Public Relation Officer CP Frank Mba, the suspects were arrested by the Incident Response Team and Special Tactical squad department of the Nigeria Police from different parts of the Country. Among the suspects is Silvester Obole a student of University of Jos who allegedly borrowed the sum of 500,000 naira from his friend and also contracted one Samuel Emmanuel to rob and kill him. Others include 3 suspects with specialty in illegal production and distribution of vehicle plate number. Abdullahi Gauhatu is the leader of a trans-border kidnapping syndicate that operate between Sokoto and Niger Republic. Items recovered from the suspects includes 45 assorted fire arms, 1GPMG riffle, 17Ak 47, 20 locally fabricated Ak47, 2Pump action, and 3single barrel, 80 pieces of illegal plate number, 2 Toyota vehicles among others.
