As part of efforts to ensure seamless registration and compliance with the COVID 19 protocol, the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) says over 200 National Identity Number NIN registration centres are active for the exercise.
The Commission however advised persons seeking to register for NIN to use one of the over 200 licensed NIN enrollment centres and agencies nationwide to avoid large groups.
In it’s recently released tips for safe NIN registration in line with COVID-19 guidelines, the NCC advised Nigerians and foreigners undergoing the NIN registration to observe all COVID-19 protocols including use of facemask, observance of social distancing while waiting in the queue.
The need to avoid touching their eyes,nose and mouth while waiting to be captured for the NIN was also captured in the guideline.
