The Department of State Services (DSS) has denied reports that it tortured and detained Sa’idu Afaka, President Muhammadu Buhari’s official driver to death.
A signed Statement by the Service Spokesman Peter Afunanya indicates that the DSS does not torture suspects as Its handling method is usually in compliance with the tenets of criminal justice administration system and democracy.
The Service recalled that the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, had on 6th April, 2021 announced the passing of Afaka after a prolonged illness.
