JAMB Begins Registration For 2021 UTME.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says the JAMB registration for 2021 will commence onThursday, April 8 and end on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

This was disclosed by the Head, Public Affairs and Protocol of JAMB, Dr Fabian Benjamin in signed statement made available to Channel Network Afrique.

Dr Benjamin said candidates who will sit for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must have National Identity Number (NIN) before they can be registered for the annual matriculation examination.

He further noted that the registration will take place in 700 centres across the country, adding that the list of approved centres is available in all the state offices and JAMB’S website: www.jamb.gov.ng

Dr Benjamin also stated that candidates are also to note that the registration for Direct Entry applicants would run concurrently with that of UTME candidates and there would be no extension of time for the sale of the UTME/DE application documents.

“Optional Mock will be held on Friday, 30th April, 2021, for those ​who indicate interest and registered ​before 24th ​of April, 2021.” He noted

According to the statement the UTME will be conducted from ​Saturday, June 5 to Saturday, June 19, 2021, adding that the venue of the examination will be at any of the centres in the candidate’s chosen examination town.

He stated that the registration fee for the 2021 application documents is N3, 500 and N500 for the recommended Reading Text.

He said information regarding other registration processes and requirements would be made available on the Board’s website and advertised in the electronics and print media from 5th April 2021.
