As part of ongoing efforts by the National Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC)of the All Progressive Congress APC to rebuild and reposition party,a 61 Member contact and Strategy Committee has been inaugurated. The National Chairman, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC),Mai Mala Buni while inaugurating the Committee at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, said the gesture is to consolidate on the achievements made in building a strong party with a solid structure that would enable the APC stand the test of time. The Yobe state Governor further said the mandate of the Committee includes among others to provide a synergy that will drive the party to go beyond 6th, 7th and even 8th term of office. On his part, the Chairman, APC Contact and Strategy committee, and Governor of Jigawa State Abubakar Badaru assured of their effort to deliver on their mandate. Other members of the 61 high-powered member Strategy and Contact Committee includes Governor’s Yaya Bello of Kogi state,Babagana Zulum Borno state, Abdullahi Sule Nasarawa state,Aminu Masari Katsina state, Simon Bako Lalong plateau state, – Babajide Sanwo-Olu Lagos state, Dapo Abiodun Ogun state, Hope Uzodinma Imo state, Ovie Omo-Agege ,Deputy Senate President and others.
