The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has graduated senior officers of the rank of Assistant Comptroller to Deputy Comptrollers in the 10th Command Course at the Immigration Command and Staff College,Sokoto.
In a signed statement by the Service Public Relations Officer, DCI James Sunday made available to Channel Network Afrique, the NIS Comptroller General, Muhammad Babandede congratulated the officers as well as enjoin them to put what they have learnt to practice.
Babandede further urged the officers to add value to the service as much is expected from them as middle cadre managers.
Meanwhile, the Commandant of the College, ACG Isiyaka Yusuf, commended the NIS boss for his support and interventions that made the course a successful one despite the Covid-19 pandemic that stall many activities.
The graduation which was conducted virtually attracted heads of security agencies in Sokoto, some State Comptrollers and few selected dignitaries from Sokoto.
The event received also the Blessings of the Sultan of Sokoto HRH Alh Abubakar Saad III who has always been a blessing to the college.
