The fiscal vaccine for eradication of the coronavirus pandemic is due for arrival in Nigeria. This was disclosed by the Executive Director of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency Dr Faisal Shuaib at a facility tour of the agencies Ultra Cold Chain store in Abuja. He said the first set of about 100,000 dozens of the vaccines would be stored in the 700m capacity cold Chain freezer. He was however quick to add that the vaccines will be certified by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and other regulatory bodies before use. Dr Shuaib further highlighted on modalities that may inform category of persons that the vaccines would be administered to. About 70% of Nigerians are expected to be vaccinated in the next one year.
