CAC Sets April 1 Deadline For Customers Account Validation, Threatens Sanctions On Defaulters

The Corporate Affairs Commission has called on all registered customers to immediately commence the revalidation exercise of their entities.

The Registrar General, Garba Abubakar made the call at a news conference in Abuja to highlight his achievements in the last twelve months.

Mr. Abubakar said until the validation exercise is carried out the commission will not hesitate in suspending customers accounts from 1st of April this year.

On the face off between the CAC management and its union, the Registrar General said the group has no legal backing as such the Commission has no obligations to it.

The CAC boss also spoke on ongoing plans to integrate their data base with that of National Identity Management Commission among other issues.

He however, assured that the Commission is committed to generate more money for the government through its Internally Generated Revenues.
