The Armed forces of Nigeria says it will not relent in the fight against boko haram terrorists, banditry and other evil vices bedevilling the Nation. This is as the Defence media team continue to update Nigerians on the strides recorded by troops of various operations in conjunction with other security agencies across the country from 12th to 18th November 2020. Speaking at the media interface, the Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche said troops of operation Lafiya Dole while on routine patrol encountered and killed two Boko Haram terrorists and arrested an improvise explosive device maker at Ladantar general area of Borno state. General Enenche who also shared more insight on activities of operation Hadarin Daji, Thunder strike, Safe haven and Whirl stroke in the North West and North Central zone said scores of bandits were neutralised with unspecified others arrested, kidnapped victims rescued and large cache of arms and ammunition recovered. The scenario is not different in the south south zone as the defence spokesman said its troops in various operation have continued to intensify the fight against economic saboteurs, oil bunkering and pipeline vandalism among other crimes in the region. The defence high command commended the Armed forces and other security agencies for the feat and vowed to sustain the tempo and task of securing the country.
