It is nolonger news that the peaceful #End SARS protests across major cities in the country took a different twist as it was over ran by hoodlums,a development responsible for loss of lives and destruction of properties worth billions of naira. However, the intrigues that characterised the Lekki Gate shooting has continued to generate reactions and widespread condemnations from within and outside the country. As part of efforts to calm nerves and accede to some of the demands of the End SARS protesters, some states have constituted and inaugurated judicial panels of inquiry to investigate incidents of police brutality as well as the recent crisis. Addressing a news conference in Abuja, Conference of Civil Society of Nigeria says it is keenly monitoring the conduct of the various panels of inquiry with key focus on Lagos state.
