The military and other security agencies have been placed on red alert to combat any attack in the federal capital Territory and adjoining states. This is sequel to a purported memorandum from the Nigeria Customs Service warning it’s staff on a possible attack by the boko haram terrorists in the FCT. In a signed statement by the Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche and made available to Channel Network Afrique, indicates that preventive and preemptive intelligence are ongoing by the military and other core intelligence response agencies. Enenche further urged the public to rain vigilant and report any suspicious activities assuring that the security agencies will continue to intensify offensives against the nation’s common enemies until peace and normalcy is restored in all parts of the country.
