The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a three hour power supply disruption in parts of Kubwa, Bwari and surrounding areas of Abuja on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
According to TCN, the disruption will result from its annual preventive maintenance of the Gwarimpa–Kubwa 132/33kV Line 1 bay switchgear and associated equipment.
The maintenance is scheduled to take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during which the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to take power supply to customers in the affected areas.
TCN apologised to electricity consumers for the inconvenience the maintenance exercise may cause.
