The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has restored the 100MVA power transformer at its 132/33kV Apo Transmission Substation following an outage earlier on Thursday.
TCN said the transformer was restored at about 7:33pm after comprehensive testing and maintenance works were carried out.
The restoration has also returned the affected 33kV feeders—H31, H33, H35 and H37—to service, fully restoring bulk power supply to Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) customers connected to the feeders.
The company said the transformer had tripped earlier in the day, resulting in the interruption of supply to the affected feeders.
TCN appreciated customers for their patience during the outage and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining stable and reliable electricity transmission across the country.
