Chairman of the Fatima Shinkafi Support Group, Prof. Kabir Jabaka, has declared the association’s support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027 and pledged to mobilise Nigerians behind the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Speaking to journalists at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Headquarters in Abuja, Jabaka said the group was in the party secretariat to congratulate President Tinubu and express appreciation for the appointment of a senior party figure whom he described as a credible and widely accepted leader.

He said the association operates under the leadership of Hajiya Fatima Shinkafi, whom he described as a respected stateswoman known for her contributions to education, youth empowerment and healthcare support in Zamfara State.

According to him, Shinkafi has consistently provided scholarships and educational assistance to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, while also supporting skills acquisition programmes for women and youths as well as medical interventions for vulnerable groups.

Jabaka also reaffirmed the group’s support for the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Abdulaziz Abubakar, describing him as a respected figure whose appointment would strengthen the party’s preparations ahead of future electoral contests.

He congratulated the APC leadership, particularly the party’s national chairman, for what he called a strategic appointment, expressing confidence that the new leadership would help the party achieve its objectives.

The association, he said, has already begun plans for political mobilisation and public enlightenment campaigns aimed at highlighting the achievements of the Tinubu administration.

“Our enlightenment materials are ready to educate Nigerians on the legacies of President Bola Tinubu and the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” he said.

Jabaka noted that the group intends to engage various segments of society, including political stakeholders and community leaders, to promote greater understanding of government policies and programmes.

He added that one of the association’s major objectives is to convince Nigerians of the need to support Tinubu’s re-election, arguing that national stability, equity, social justice and cohesion would be strengthened by allowing the President to complete a second term in office.

“We are ready to carry Nigerians along through education and awareness campaigns on these issues,” he said.
The professor added that the group’s members were prepared to engage with communities across the country as part of efforts to build support for the APC and the President ahead of the 2027 general elections.
