Governance: Nigeria Government Advocates For Citizen Participation.
The principle of citizens participation holds that those who are affected by a decision have a right to be involved in the decision-making process which in addition, is a vital part of democratic governance. Unfortunately, this is not the case in the Nigerian polity, consequently resulting in a huge Communication and information glut between the government and the governed. However, in a bid to improve citizens participation in governance, the National Orientation Agency, NOA has organized a two-day training workshop, to enlighten Nigerian citizens on governance through Civic Education.
