To this end, nations of the world as well as international humanitarian agencies have continued to put in efforts to ensure the control of disease spread by strengthening medical and pharmaceutical laboratories worldwide as well as the constant review of the Global Health Security Agenda. Speaking at the 55 Annual Scientific Conference and Workshop of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria, vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, pledged the commitment of the government towards adopting and deploying strategies to strengthen the nation’s medical laboratories as well as control disease spread.
