The south African high commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Moroe has expressed regret over the spat of attack on Nigerians and other foreign nationals in his country saying the act does not represent the mind set of the overall majority of South Africans. The envoy gave the indication at a meeting with the minister of Foreign Affairs, Godfrey Onyeama in Abuja. He said the South African government has ordered the arrest of the criminals involved in the act. The meeting between the two envoy became necessary after President Buhari directed the foreign Affairs minister to summon the south African high commissioner and convey his reservation over the situation. A delegation from president Mohammadu Buhari is expected to meet with President Cyril Raphamosa of South Africa over the development on Thursday, 5th September ,2019 in Pretoria.
