Group Rejects Unwanted Attack On Former NNPCL Boss Kyari
Only recently, anti-corruption group staged a mass protest in Abuja demanding for the arrest and prosecution of the sacked Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited boss, Mele Kyari for corruption and mismanagement of billions of dollars crude oil deal.
In a counter reaction, a coalition of civil society organisations, bloggers and vloggers, contents creators association said the sacked NNPCL chief has done nothing wrong in his reform drive in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s renewed hope agenda.
Addressing a news conference in the nation’s capital city, Abuja, leader of the group, Takubo Kennedy said contrary to the narratives being put up, Kyari and his team through positive reforms salvage an already battered sector.
The group also highlighted some giant strides recorded by the former NNPCL boss.
The Coalition Of Civil Society Organisations in Nigeria however call on president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to remain steadfast, and not to allow desperate tactics to distract his administration.
