Coalition Of Nigeria Civil Society Groups Thumbs Up US Government For Visa Restriction Policy.

The United States government on July 23,2019 made good its promise to impose visa restrictions on persons believed to have committed electoral fraud in the 2019 general elections. A statement from the US department of state categorized the persons affected to have operated with impunity at the expense of the Nigerian people and undermined democratic principles and human rights. The Nigerian Civil Society Situation room at a news conference in Abuja applauded the action of the US government and called on other nations to follow suite.
