Change Of Guard In CIPMN As FG Inaugurates New Governing Council

This was the official inauguration of the new governing council of the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria, CIPMN, by the Federal Government.

The inauguration which took place in the conference room of the Minister of Industry, Senator, John Enoh at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment in Abuja was the second in succession after the establishment of the Institute by an act of the Nigerian parliament.

Addressing the new CIPMN’s governing council, Senator Enoh, represented by his Senior Special Adviser on Policy and Government, Adedeji Adeshile, urged the body to play a more active role in supporting industrial growth.

While outlining its industrial agenda which prioritised automobile manufacturing and in-country industrialisation, the Minister reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s commitment to strengthening local industries.

Registrar, Chief Executive Officer, CIPMN, Henry Mbadiwe, commended the minister for his presence and emphasised the importance of the institute in regulating project management in Nigeria.

The inauguration which marked a significant step in strengthening project management and industrial development in the country was attended by key industry stakeholders.
