Just In: How ITF Intends To Equip18,000 Nigerians With New Skills In 2019 – Ari

In line with the Nigeria’s Government drive to create jobs for its citizens, one of its agencies, the Industrial Training Fund has set a target of about eighteen thousand youths to be equipped on eleven skills acquisition programmes this year. The ITF Director General, Joseph Ari, who dropped the hint at a news conference in the nation’s capital Abuja said the Fund will undertake various programmes to sharpen the skills of Nigerians within three to six months to meet the best international practice. He said the social investment and skills acquisition programmes so far implemented by the agency is a pointer to Nigeria’s government efforts to get its citizens engaged in meaningful economic ventures that will make them shun criminality.
