Interior Minister Signs Performance Appraisals Contract With Heads Of Agencies.
In line with the renewed hope agenda, the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunj-Ojo has signed a performance appraisals contract with heads of agencies supervised by the ministry.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed was to ensure that heads of agencies don’t treat their jobs with levity.
Speaking at the end of a two-day retreat, the Minister said while noting that it will no longer be business as usual said the move was in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directives for performance base regime.
He however, warned heads of agencies against playing the role of bosses but remain as leaders.
The Permanent Secretary and some heads of agencies also spoke on the significance of the two-day retreat.
Some of the items thrashed at the two-day performance contract signing retreat are, agency scorecards development, quarterly target breakdown, cascade to department and cascade to staff among others.
